Challenge

We were looking for a single product that would enable us to create a comprehensive privacy programme and then share this throughout our organisation. To develop a privacy programme that our colleagues would relate to and use to develop their knowledge and skills.

The complex structure of our business, from in-store and online customers, employees, service providers and partners meant that we needed to look for the best way to manage the data that we are receiving and processing and how we could comply with the GDPR within our business model and maintain the best customer experience.

Solution

After reviewing our options we selected PrivacyEngine to work with to achieve this goal. The multi-faceted SaaS product offers a secure environment for us to log our data processing activities and identify any risks associated with these activities and take appropriate actions.

The platform enables us to provide our employees with both pre-loaded training material and the option to upload our own content. As a consequence we have an excellent balance of material to send through to our teams and record the progress made.

Result

The result is that we have a system that effectively structures the needs of the business in terms of GDPR compliance and enables us to manage and review risks. We are identifying new ways in which we can securely process the data needed to operate a successful business.

We take pride in selecting partner brands and continually striving to be better and PrivacyEngine™ has given us confidence and security from regular industry updates and the available support relating to GDPR legislation.
